Kobaloni Energy’s refinery will be located near the town of Chingola in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia, close to a number of established metallurgical operations and with good access to infrastructure (hydropower, transport?).
The ability to draw upon extensive local mineral processing knowledge was key Kobaloni Energy’s decision to select this location and enables our strategy of employing skilled Zambian contractors, operators and technicians.
Chingola’s rich mining history was key to the decision to build in this area, offering a depth of local mining and mineral processing knowledge and skills for Kobaloni Energy to draw upon. This is in keeping with our strategy of employing skilled Zambian contractors, operators and artisans.
